Fred, that's pretty much what the guys on the podcasts are saying.  In fact they insist Cora wants out of Boston and this MGT.  The need is for a new manager, as you say, that can develop young players.  Winning comes later. after the teaching.

Good game. The bats woke up and the pitching was still good. Sox win 9-2.

First hit for Grissom is a two-run double, makes it 5-1.

Raphaela is most of the offense today.  A good 4 IP for Criswell before turning it over to a pretty good bullpen.

They need to settle on a regular plan for 1B and 2B and DH.  They've got a solid outfield.  Devers and Rafaela at 3B adb SS and the catchers are doing their part.  But the shuffle of guys (what happened that got Hamilton back up, was that for the Yoshida IL move)?

I think I'm glad I was hiking all day and didn't realize it was on when I was driving home!

The Sox got as many hits as Twins, they just had too many GIDP and LOBs.  Not good in a tight game.  Playing so many utility players gives us no mojo.

That's I think the 11th time in 35 games that the Sox have scored 2 runs or less. Hard to win many that way. Pitching was ok just no bats.
