An interesting setup going into this game. 5 weeks ago these two teams met with one team not able to lose and the other not able to win. Now they are both at .500. A sweep would be nice to win the season series. Maybe the "tension" of the week will result in break out night at the plate.
And the two teams are polar opposite in the last ten, 8-2 and 2-8.
Ted and Dog, it does seem simplistic for me to say it is our turn to take care of Seattle after what they did to us in their home park in the opening series of the season, but that's what we have to do..PERIOD!!!!!!! It is high time the team starts playing like the team they are reputed to be instead of the cheap frauds we've seem much of the past month and a half. Either we are going to contend and be a stalwart in the league or not and there is no better time to make that move than starting tonight.
Gotta love 3 run homers with 2 outs!
I'd say they're taking care of business tonight. Lots of dingers. 8-0
On the down side, I think opposing pitchers have figured out Chavis. Just throw the ball in the dirt and he'll swing at it.
E-Rod is having a great game.
Thornburg time.

Thornburg time.
Or Mister Junktime. He's still giving up runs.
This game is already in the bag, but bases juiced, no outs in the 8th. More runs coming.
Wow, back-to-back infield screwups by the Mariners. Now 11-1.
What a rout. Now 14-1.
Even in a rout game like this, JBJ is useless at the plate.
Weber closes it out. 14-1. Sweet. Finally a winning record. thumb_u
Good pitching. Good defense. Offense showed up. Can't ask for much more except for them to do it again tomorrow.
Pitchers are having a field day of laye with Chavis. The kid needs to adjust fast or take the hour ride to AAA.
He suddenly has no eye. He's swinging at pure crap.
Chablis is going through the usual adjustment phase. The pitcher's have adjusted to him now he has to figure it out.
A gem by ERod for sure. Is any lead safe with Thorny coming out of the pen? lol. Good payback to a team that humbled Sox to start the season.
MAY 10th & on the right side of 20 & 19 …….. Just goes to show, that HAY wasted in the SPRING may not be available in the FALL ???? Still in it, although still uphill ….. iono iono iono iono
