1 - 4 at AA.  What could go wrong?

Of course who needs another starter when Eovaldi may come back some day, probably long enough for someone else to go on the IL.  Wake up Dombrowski and let him know there's a dumpster fire at Yawkey Way, or whatever they're calling it now (Big Papi Plaza?)

Cora said after the Rays, 'they're a better team'.  Is he going to say the same about the Rangers after this series?  Whoa.

The young pup has dazzling stuff. In a few years of learning that big white plate is where the little ball should go he just may be a keeper. His command needs an awful lot of work.

Poyner is a walk machine. Can't buy a strike.

He can give up hits, though. Sox down 6-3 now.

Beni sniping at the ump. Gets himself tossed along with Cora. Not sure what his gripe was.

5 guys who walked have scored.  Meanwhile the Sox are lucky to get a second hit in an inning.

Too bad there’s nothing else on tonight.  But he could have walked home on that inside the park homer.  Sad.

Someone tell Marco you need to swing at the balls over the plate. Looking at them doesn't do much.

At least the METS split their day-night doubleheader with the Yankees.

In fairness, if Sox pitchers throw BP, he may never have actually seen balls over the plate.

The inability of our relievers (or last night's "starter") to throw strikes is incredible.  How do they make it to this point if they can't get guys to put the ball in play?

Something needs to be done about Betts.  He's gone from MVP to MDP - Most Detrimental Player.  Lazy in the field all of a sudden, always squinting when he's at the plate, he looks like he'd rather be doing anything else.

The entire team has gone brain dead.  Look at Brock Holt for example.  He has always been a spark plug.  Now he has made two befuddling plays in two consecutive games.  If this weren't baseball but some other organization making mental error after mental error and simply going through the motions, the manager would called on the carpet for the group's flagging morale.  I hate to be Johnny One Note but this all goes back to ST when Mgr What Me Worry set the tone for the season.
