We turned away to watch the news and then came back and saw they had given up 2 and were wondering what happened.  He's been terrible.

They just keep rolling, have to enjoy this while it lasts!

There might be a couple of things have to worry about like our bullpen, Benintendi's slow start and Bradley's slump, not to mention hot and cold hitting, but we sure can't complain about the results so far.  11-2 is a very nice start but I do want to see how these next three games turn out.  Velasquez, Johnson and the bullpen in two of these Baltimore games could be a worry, but then again, we have met the challenges so far and seem to be in pretty good shape all around  Tonight was a business like 7-3 win, the kind I like.  Please guys, keep up the good work.

The double over Bradley's head illustrated my criticism of him on another thread.  His over confidence resulted in his playing too shallow figuring he could get back on any ball.  He should have been playing deeper with Machado up precisely to prevent the extra hit which drove in two runs.  The Sox vaunted data driven coaching staff should have positioned him better.  Any old school manager would have had JBJ playing deeper in that situation.

Third time in the last two games he's been too shallow.

52 runs in the last 6 games. Whoa. Awe-fence indeed.

Aw, Fred beat me to it.  :)  What kind of Sox fans would we be without anything to complain about in another solid win and an 11-2 start?!

Here ya go:

1. The O's relievers had a line of:  7 inns 1 run 4 hits and 6Ks (the run on a WP)
2. Benintendi went O-fer with 6 LOBs
3. Bradley went hitless and let a 2b fly over his head.
4  Hembree gives up 2 runs in 1 inning.
5. Take Tillman out of the equation and we could have lost this one.

Benintendi just started hitting against the Yankees and Cora kept him out.
He should be playing every day until he warms up.  Cora needs to learn
some players need the work.
