Benintendi, one of our best hitters is sitting and Bradley, our worst, is playing----against a pitcher who has been the most dominant against us the past two seasons.  Makes no sense!!!!  Then again, Porcello is one again getting ripped in the early innings.  Not looking good.

Well Bradley got a solid hit!!!!!!  Well he has done what no one else has done so far.  Maybe we do something now.

Xander crushes one for a 3-run dinger. Now 6-3.

Paxton defeated by his own team.

Porcello started to cruise through the 5th inning and then gave up 3 2-out base hits. Now 6-4.

Almost a nasty meltdown by Porcello, but he got out of it with just the one run in.

Great. Hembree comes in and gives up a solo dinger. Now 6-5.

Meatball Matt blows the lead. Mariners up 7-6.

DEFEAT snatched from the JAWS of VICTORY...… BLOWN opportunities by both our VAUNTED hitters and the rebuilt bullpen !!! As the YANK$ win 4-3 against Tampa Bay !!!  Not to mention that the SOX were GIFTED 6 RUNS !!!! thumb_d iono iono rofl rofl rofl rofl

Tough loss.  I was pretty frustrated when Beni came in to pinch hit for Leon and after not being in the game all night, swings at the first pitch and just missed a DP.  Sox need to get their act together with men in scoring position.  As for the pen, Denard Span has been killing us all year.  It was over when he came up with two men on.

Didn't the front office say before the season that Meatball Barnes could not handle pressure situations last season and that posed a problem for the coming season?  Then knowing that why the hell was he in there in the eighth inning instead of Kelly, Poyner or someone else?  And why was Benintendi, one of our top hitters, on the pine and Bradley, the worst in baseball, in the lineup?  Sooner or later many of you out there will come to agree with me that Cora is maybe a little too small for the job he has and just as stupid.  One of these days we will hire a real manager who knows what the hell he is doing.
