Nothing he could do about getting hit by the ball unless he should get hit by the bat instead. If it doesn't hit him the 2nd baseman throws out Devers at 1st. Devers should be happy since he got credit for a base hit since it hit the runner.

Other than Devers learning to run with his head up I think Davis needs work on his dance routine. It looked shaky. Decent all around game. 5.5 game lead heading into NY.

Well we came back from an early deficit and wound up winning another big game and sweeping the series while the Yankees got swept by the hot Indians. In other words WE took care of business and took advantage of the break the Indians gave us with their DH sweep of the Yankees, and in doing so regained all the ground we lost last week. Four games coming up with New York and this could be where we plant our feet in the ground and make our stand. Maybe we can use what took place the last three days as an elixir to keep the ball moving in our favor. The first half of this week has been great; now we must continue the momentum.

A nice 3 days for the Sox :) They sweep and NYY struggle with CLE.

Nice to finish off the Jays with a fully executed game: grades A for starting pitching; A for hitting; A for base running; A for relief pitching; and an A for fielding.
