Think maybe we can get ourselves a win tonight? We should be due for something good after our stinkeroo in London. Hey Cora, if we get a lead going into the ni nth inning tonight YOU DO NOT BRING IN BARNES, you stubborn dumb bastard.
Bogey showing that 2018 was not a fluke. Thankfully the Sox see it and gave the extension. While he will not be a 35-40 HR guy he will be a mainstay in the center of the offense.6-120 was a great deal for both.
Coming out of the All-Star break, the Red Sox will play 34 games in 34 days from July 12-August 14 (21 home, 13 road). They have 1 off day in that time (Monday, 7/29) but will play a day/night doubleheader at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, 8/3.
With their not so good home record, this is not good.
As DAD would say, "SON, ya know that time is against us" !!! WIN baby WIN !!!! iono iono iono iono
Shazam! Sox are putting up runs like those Bronx bums.
Sox luck out there with a Ground Rule Double. Saved a run.
Price suddenly looking shaky. Gets ahead 1-2 and then walks the guy.
Uh-oh. Vlady, Jr with bases juiced.
Out of it.
Raffy with a 2-RBI hit. Sox up 7-1.
Vaz with a solo boomer. Sox up 8-2.
Figure Price is done. 93 pitches in 6 innings. Sox up 8-2 at the moment.
Raffy having a heck of a night at the plate. 2-run dinger. Sox up 10-3.
Beni with a miserable night at the plate. 0-5 with 3 K's.
Kelley throwing strikes that the ump is calling balls. Must be the sidearm delivery confusing him.
Kelley doing his best to blow a 7-run lead. He'll fit right in with this BP.
Finally. Let's hope someone was paying attention and doesn't let this guy close a 1 or 2 run game.
Kelley just another example of why no one should pay attention to minor league stats.
Kelley, another new piece of shit dumped on the Red Sox. I t never seems to end. No lead is safe with this bunch of crumbs and Kelly fits right in. We need to clean out our minor league system of every efen pitching coach down there and then send LaVangie packing because we just cannot develop pitchers who can get outs when we need them. Once again our bullpen sucked. If we hadn't scored ten runs this would have been a nail bit er and we mostl ikely would have lost. At least Bungo Bum Barnes was nowhere to be seen. And when was the last time one of our relievers actually pitched a clean inning? Win or not this team is in deep shit and they are pissing me off more and more with their half-ass play. And who throws tomorrow? Velasquez????? Oh God!!!!!!.
