A shitty choke up job tonight and reason to believe that we just aren't made of the stern stuff needed to advance into the playoffs.  We have seen this too many times this season.  We do have a chance to make amends for our piss poor job tonight but if we lose tomorrow any trade we made that costs us a solid hitter in foolhardy and doomed to failure.  Our best trade for us would be Bradley, loved by the front office but a 220-230 hitter and another 0 for 4 tonight.

Price did not look sharp despite the Ks
PITCHING in this DAY of the JUICED BALL has changed the game ……  STARTERS are usually GONE before they are two times thru the lineup ……  Pitchers that throw strikes and try to over power have been CLOBBERED and gone by the 5th + - INNING...….  PRICE & SALE really need to reinvent the BRUSHBACK or perhaps end up in the  BULLPEN ….. That said, TAMPA BAY has the right idea with the "OPENER" & then all hands on deck after that !!! iono iono iono iono

7  1/2 hours to deadline.  DD don't  be -stupud.
Stay the course with something MNOR.
THINK OF 2020.

The LOBsters have returned along with the lousy pitching.  Even Cash's stupid decision to remove Morton wasn't enough.

We are at best a wild card team.  Fighting for a one game winner take all contest.  But that presents a major problem --- who toes the rubber for that one game?  Price has lost his last two starts, Sale has won 4 games all year.  Who then,  who pitches in the ALDS?

This team is recovering from a year long slumber, but is still flawed in a few critical areas.  As has been said, It ain't happening this year folks.

Good job DD at least you didn't  do something FOOLISH and we get a 1st round pick this year. I see a minor reset coming at the winter meetings.

Astros getting Greinke.
So much for any Yankee hopes.

Interesting turnabout ... Greinke was pitching for Dbacks at Yankee Stadium right when the trade was announced.  Two batters later he gives up a go ahead dinger to Romine.  I don't know if they pulled him, but there was a slippery mound out there in the rain.

Shocked that the NYY with about 25 M in cap space did nothing.
