It's been a long, tough year.  Two of the former free agents don't seem to be going out with a good message.  Jansen says MGT let them down at deadline when they needed help.  Turner thanked the fans in what sounded like a farewell.  I hope the youngsters can show up for the fans this weekend.  A few good future stars for sure.  Ceddanne looks like the real deal.

Nothing on offense tonight.  Two hits thru six.  Two runners on and one out that inning, but nothing doing.

Due to blackout rules we have  to watch the Orioles broadcast.   According to the O's announcers Cora reportedly said that he will concentrate on defense next spring training.  OMG  Words can not  describe my reaction after watching Cora literally waste Spring Training year in and year out by "resting" the veterans.

Chris Sale has already been anointed next years opening day pitcher by Alex Cora.

ANOTHER Sox loss.

Sale pitched well again against a good Orioles team.
1 solo home run.

The winning run allowed on a missed short hop on a Texas-league fly ball by Rafaela. The play was almost remarkable Lots of ground covered. Abreu and Rafaela had a mix up later in the inning on a fly ball. There's some tentativeness that will need to be worked out if they are both going to break camp.

The Orioles' strategy for the past two seasons was brilliant. They kept their blue-chippers and built a great foundation. This could be us in 2 years. Going to be a tougher road because of the disregard for good starting pitching the past few years. If we liked what we saw from Baltimore this year, we'll need to squeeze our a little more patience all around. We're close.
