Wow, tough matchup for Houck in his first game back. But if there is one pitcher on the Sox staff that is gritty enough to bring it, it's Houck.

It's confirmed that Duran is out on the 10-day, and they're calling up former Astro Wilyer Abreu for tonight. A little confusing, Cora would not confirm Duran is on the 10 day, and talked about another MRI on Duran's foot.

To make room for Houck they optioned Chris Murphy to Worcester.

More sloppy play. Story should have had that. Houck didn't do too bad. One pitch he'd like to have back. That third run wasn't his fault. But the offense is non-existent tonight and the defense is awful.
