Well Aaron Boone blamed the Friday loss to the pitcher's clock.  May all the unlucky plays come down on Cole today.

Man, the Yankees look bad. Must be some serious clubhouse issues with that team.

For the record, Luis Urias is first Sox to hit grand slams in back to back games since Jimmy Foxx.  About 80 years ago.  Announcers said on consecutive pitches, vs Nats and today.

Consecutive pitches, not less? Dang!

Nice win regardless what the Yankees are going though.

The Injuries and Updates section said this about Casas' dental plight.
"After having a tooth infection drained at a local hospital ....."  That sounds wicked rough. Won't see him back until Sunday Cora said.

And I go to bed tonight knowing that I got my 23rd Red Sox Anniversary with a big win today.  See you guys in ten days.

Have a good trip, Fred. I'll play Black Water a few times this week in your honor.  thumb_u

Sox gave you a good send-off Fred, enjoy.  I was out hiking while the Sox were demolishing the Yankees.  Got to love the bottom of the order rocking Cole.
