Pulled that one out of our butts. Fortunately Verdugo seen that Vladdy late-inning opposite field game winner single movie before and knew it was coming his way again. Can't believe Bichette was out by that much, though.

Winckowski picked one off using the same play in Cleveland, IIRC. Usually the SS goes into the space between the runner and the bag before they try it, so wasn't sure it was actually that play. Kike was nowhere near the spot he should have been if that play was on, but it's Kike.

Speaking of Kike, is Hamilton settled enough to be a defensive replacement maybe a little earlier than the 9th now? I know today was because Duran pinch hit for him, but it might be something to start considering if we don't get Reyes back soon. (Chang looked awful at the plate yesterday. Ugly.)
