longgame

We’re getting the game we deserve today.  Sox pouring on the runs scoring 6 so far in the 3rd to go up 7-0.

11-3, bottom 8.  Yoshida has two hits and 2 RBI.  Kike 3-4, Casas with a hit and 2 walks.  Chang had a homer too.  Nice start from Houck, 7IP, 6H, 3ER, 7 K.

It's good to see Chang at the plate with confidence to hit with runners on.  That solves a lot of our mess at SS, if he can stay in the lineup.  A serviceable Duran also smooths over some of the other holes out there.

Big series coming up with the Brewers,  they're a hot team, 11-2 against the Mets, Cardinals, Padres, and Mariners.

Well Sea Dog, we came from behind to night and beat the Brew Crew 5-3 so we keep our sudden ability to win after falling behind.  We have no choice in the matter though because the Jays. Rays and O's all also won.  Only the Yankees in the AL East lost tonight, but there seems to be more than one division that is pretty stacked this season.  It should make for an exciting summer if these games in our division, the NL West and East and AL West keep things simmering as  they're doing now.
