ERod was brought up as an O-re-ole.  We had a stud in Andrew Miller to do the deal.  I guess in the long run that was a plus for Boston.  Miller blew his bid chance later on in the Series against the Cubs.

Well they sure have been hitting with 44 runs or something in 4 games.  Now they have the most potent lineup they've fielded this year, especially if Dalbec indeed has figured things out and if Vazquez can hit like he did earlier in the year.

Starting pitching has actually been very good the past week, so let's see what they can come up with today.

So, E-ROD gives up a run in the 1st ?????  At this point , no team should lose to the ORIOLES . That said , I am so tired of waiting for E-ROD to live up to his nick name , MR. POTENTIAL !!!!  iono iono iono iono

Schloicka

Needs to cut down his pitch count per inning. 53 pitches through 3. Almost 18 an inning.

Schwarber got his first hits for the Sox today.  JD seems to be limbering up for NYY with a couple bombs this weekend.  As usual the old Barnes had us deal with extra drama in the 9th, but prevailed over a team that got swept for the 14th time this season.

longgame

Can't get too excited about sweeping the O's but on the other hand they are capable of losing a series like that.  Starting pitching has been solid and hitting coming around.

Does Schwarber remind anyone else of Varitek in just the way he handles himself?

Now we have a legit 1B too.
