The ace will return from the DL after being sidelined with a mild inflammation
from his shoulder.  Sale will try to pick up where he left off.  In his past nine starts,
Sale is 6-1 with a 0.75 ERA, notching 97 K's in 60 frames without giving up a HR.

BALTIMORE:

ALEX COBB, RHP, 3-14, 5.55 ERA, 78K

Cobb is coming off a terrific seven inning outing against the Rays on Tuesday
night.  The righty has quality starts in three of his last four outings, allowing one
earned run three times in that stretch.

The Sox may win this game and they may sweep the series but I definitely don't like the way Cora has used and I might add abused the bullpen against the O's.  I think this could come back and bite him good in the future.

Sale with the win. Braiser bailed out Thornburg. The pen looks drained. Sox scored a couple late for insurance. Kimbrel muddled his way to a save. Sox are 50 games over .500 at 85-35. On to Philly on Tuesday. Should be a good match up.
