Bear is back hooray!! :) :) :)  Let's go get them!!!!

SeaBeachFred

The sun has risen with a bright blue sky......the Bear is with us again.  Great to have you back Marge.  And Pomeranz, if you or someone you know is checking in, go out there tonight and win us a game for a change.  You are due for a good one and it will be about time.  Do not spoil things for us tonight.   We need to keep the line moving and keep winning.  This thing is still far from over and while we made some real hay the past week there are still a lot of teams who want to spoil things for us.  We must NOT let that happen.

Welcome back bear! So good to see you putting up the threads :)

And now with Pomeranz on the mound, the situation dares the bats to go crazy on Stroman who is only marginally better.  ::)

Thank you all for the praises. I missed doing it too.
However, If I miss now/then, please forgive.
It was fun this morning as I had forgotten a few things
but it came back.
Thank you to all those who kept up the good work.
You done good!
As Fred noted, yes, Pomeranz, keep on winning as we
need to keep going.
It did surprise me to see us sweep the yanks.

We wore Tanaka in a short while; he looked tired.
Stealing bases tired and confused the entire yankee
team.   It was so much fun to watch.  Love those
players.

Did we give J.D. Martinez just a one year contract?
If we did, pay the guy and keep him.
I read John Henry has already earned a trillion dollars
on the Boston Globe.

Over/out.

Cora gratefully puts Pomerantz out of my misery.  Thankfully, Pomerantz was pitching against  a depleted Toronto team otherwise the Jays would be up by more than one run.  5 walks in 5 innings is ridiculous.  One could make a case for Pomerantz being "effectively" wild but this guy can't be trusted against a contending team.

markj

Pom-pom tossed about the same number of pitches in 4.2 innings as Porcello did in 9 the other day. I won't shed a tear when he's finally traded away or released.
