Looks like Cora doesn't have a lot of confidence on Swihart behind the dish, playing Leon for the third straight day.

Interesting all the righties bunched up near the top against a righty, but better not having Holt up there and with Beni out there aren't a lot of options for lefty bats that can hit near the top of the order.

BTW, Stroman is having a pretty rough year so hopefully the Sox can get ahead early in this one.  I think Toronto is likely to fold like a cheap suit after losing that way yesterday, especially if they fall behind.

Johnson gives up a 2 run HR on a curve ball that didn't do much. 2-2 now.

So far so good...… Last checked, YANK$ & INDIANS 2-2 ….. iono iono

Johnson gives up 2 runs thru 6.  I'll take that any day.  We still need to tack on more.  Cora may be just dumb enough to parade Kelly out there.....

Johnson was ok. Still couldn't go 5 but I'll take 4.2 innings. At least no implosion.

Schloicka

Nice job Hembree getting yourself out of the jam. 5-2 Sox after 7.5 innings.

Sox go into the break at 68-30 with a 4.5 game lead winning 17 out of their last 20 games and 9 out of their last 10. Workman with the win and Kimbrel with his 30th save.

YAHOOOOOO!

Sox beat the Jays 5 - 2.

Sox finish off the first part of the season with a record of 68 - 30.
4 1/2 games up on the Yankees (Thank you Cleveland!)

Going into the All Star Break - our Sox went 13 - 1.
I'll happily take it.
