Can't believe both these teams went out so early. Kudos to CLE and SEA.  thumb_u

There's something to be said about ending the regular season in a funk.  . Rays ended 12 games out of 1st, dropped three to the Sox, and scored only one run at Cleveland.

Meanwhile  M'S  won 9 in a row, iirc,  and swept the Jays

That was really nice to see.  Both swept too.  Good for the Tribe of Guardians aka the Fighting Franconas!  The Guardians are the youngest team in MLB and in AAA too.  Average age is something like 26.  17 players debuted this year.  I hope they keep the momentum and take it to the Yankees (who have 4 times the salary).

The Mets also fell to momentum.  They appeared to be a far better team than San Diego.  Won 100 games.  But they were in 1st place all year until the end and dropped from a first round bye to a Wild Card Series.  They had a terrible bullpen other than Diaz and I can't believe they only managed a hit in the final.
