Aaaarrrggghh!!! Baaaarnes!!
Terrible curveball.
Raffy saves Barnes' butt. Sox with a walkoff.
Barnes ends up with the win. Now that's cruel.
SOX needed to split this series with the Jays.
Nate pitched a good game.
Red Sox win 2 -1 in the bottom of the 9th inning.
Always frustrating that a relief pitcher that blows the lead
can get the WIN if his teammates score in the bottom of
the inning.
STILL - a win is a win.
40 wins!
We needed that win badly tonight and a very well pitched game as well for a change. Winning 2-1 means we haven't lost our ability to win the close ones and perhaps we may start getting some god starting pitching again after what Eovaldi did tonight. Too bad he got jobbed out of a win when Barnes seemed to turn back the clock and failed to hold a one run lead in the ninth, a habit he was expert at in the past few seasons. Hopefully the team will get some rest and be ready to playin Atlanta tomorrow. I still get pissed offw hen they play a nigh game on a getaway day. I think that is stupid and very often self defeating.
