Glad I checked and saw it was an early game today. Sox hammered Morton last time, let's hope they do the same tonight.
Decent pitching and no hitting. Tough loss. On to Sunday at 1pm eastern.
Another flat day at the plate. JBJ once again proves he shows he isn't an every day player at the plate. Cora had no one to pinch hit for him.
Pearce and JBJ were game changers in the playoffs. Yet this season they are an enigma so far. of course you could say that about several players.
As DAD would say, "SON, these are the GAMES you have to WIN!!!"...… Season getting shorter every day !!! iono iono iono
This team is very poorly constructed right now. You have Leon who simply cant' come off the bench and can't stay in a game if it's late and close. He's a liability right now. Then they're thin with Lin as the only bat on the bench if JD is hurt. It will be interesting to see what they do as guys come off the DL. Holt started his stint so he can't be down much longer and Pedroia is about to start his. Not sure what is up with Nunez but I would think they're in no rush to bring him back in the short term. Pearce needs to figure out his bat before those guys come off the DL but they'll probably send down Chavis anyhow since he has options.
