Nice play by Moreland keeps it a 0-0 game.
Need a K or a popup here.
Crap. Three straight singles and it's 1-0.
Eovaldi getting batted around. Now 2-0.
Out of it finally.
Sox ain't shifting right on these guys or something. Lots of grounders through big gaps.
Sox offense is getting worrisome. And when did Workman get back? I thought they just sent him down.
They just haven't been very sharp at all the past few days. Not a good time of year to go into a slump.
A sign of life!

Think he came back when Sale went on the dl.
Not sure how he hit that pitch for a hr but he did. 6-3 now in the 8th.
Fred will be at the game tomorrow. I hope they win at least that one.
The new sheriff in town is Cleveland. Sox have been completely outclassed for 2 games straight. A study diet of pitches in the lower 3rd of the K zone has completely exposed the DeadBats. I've never seen them so clueless all season as I have the last 2 games. No mojo, no confidence, just lost in the headlights. Mookie is 3 for 23 since Cora rested him against Philly.
The NYY are 8 games back.
CRAP!
Yankees beat the Marlins 2-1 in the 12th inning.
Marlins had bases loaded in the bottom of the
11th inning and couldn’t score a stinking run.
CRAP!
Wish we had won last night.
Pitching matchup favors the Indians tomorrow.
And I agree that Mookie has been out of sync.
CRAP!
Agreed that a lot of this runs through Mookie, although other guys have to pick him up.
When you see Cleveland's bullpen you realize how flawed ours is. They can match up, they have guys that throw crazy sliders. We have righties who throw hard but suffer when their command goes a little.
Let's hope Fred can bring them some luck. I'm headed up in that direction myself and while I won't be able to catch them up there, but my son and I are headed to Atlanta to see them when I get back.
If this was a seven game, post-season series against the Indians, we'd be heading back to 3 games in Cleveland down 0-2. That thought is concerning.

I'm also factoring in our schedule against a depleted AL east this year. Balt. 40 plus under .500, the Rays giving away their talent early on. We do seem to have the Yanks number this year

That steady diet of sliders is killing us. Ugh.
