He saw around 7 -8 pitches and not one of them was in the strike zone. Needed to take the walk on 3-2.

In the Big picture Sox only lost their 3rd this month.  13-3.  But it's time to make a statement for the AL title with the Tribe.

Good effort by the pitching staff wasted by Deadbats who've scored 1 run in 17 inns.

1st losing streak in a while begins tomorrow with God himself, Kluber, on the mound.  Porcello will have to pitch a shutout.

Very true.  I have to wonder if it was one of those cases of looking past yesterday's game to this big series.  I think a lot of these good teams haven't been really challenged other than the Astros who are battling for their lead.  The Sox need a good test to see what they're made of, especially against Cleveland's starting pitching.

I just noticed that as we start 4 with Cleveland tonight, the Yankees have a day off, then at Florida for 2, another day off, then a 4 game series with Baltimore including a doubleheader.  The Sox move to Tampa Bay after hosting Cleveland and as we saw, that won't be a walk in the park either.  Could be a big week for the Sox.

WHY do the Yankees have more breaks in their schedule?
All teams have to play 162 games - just seems they have more off days
(and I know they have games to make up due to weather related postponements.)
