Orioles have been playing well and since it's a "home" game here in Charlotte I have to listen to the O's broadcast too!

We need to finally get a real top notch pi tching performance from our "ace" tonight.  You can tell the desperation reigning in all of us when we are hoping for a two game winning streak.  Such are the travails of fans looking for a dime in the street.

Murph

ACE did we make a huge trade. Surely we had to since there is barely a solid #4 SP on the roster.

Sox with a big 9th inning highlighted by Moreland's 3-run dinger.

BoSoxFanNY

Red Sox WIN 7 - 1.
Eovaldi pitched 7 strong innings.

Sox had the 3 - 1 lead
AND then scored 4 runs in the top of the 9th.

GOOD Game!

Wow two in a row!  Break them up!  Can't stop this train!  rofl

Actually nice to see them dominate a team.  Eovaldi looked good and it was fun to see the late rally.  Probably back to reality today but let's enjoy it while we can.

Indeed.  Verdugo with an 11 game hitting streak.  Still 35 games to go, but the record is safe!

You saw the quotations marks between the word ace didn't you Murph.  I'm sure you did.  Fact is, we do not have an ace but a bunch of asses on the mound.  Still we should get more from Nathan than we had gotten so far and last night he did pitch a good game.  Hell, we've actually won two in a row.  Time to "celebrate".  How about three tonight or is that asking  too much?

We need to start referring to our pitchers as AYCE pitchers. (All You Can Eat). Because they serve up a ton of tasty treats to batters.
