Vaz is carrying the Sox offense and defense. But Perez is about to lose it in the 3rd. Conforto was probably his last batter.

after he used so many pitches last night.

I think I can now uncross my fingers. We actually played a very good game tonight and Perez finally pitched well for us after a few inter-squad hiccups and his miserable performance in his first start. How can you figure this past series----we win two on the Mets field and they win two on ours. I guess that's baseball.

WHAT was going on with the FOX telecast of this game?
Every so often they would show fans in the stadium.
The first Christian Vazquez home run - they showed the ball
going into the stands - with FANS there.
And I know for a fact - no fans - just cutouts of fans, dogs & babies.

ANYBODY else notice that?

Fox developed software that puts fans in the stands on certain shots.

I heard Fox was going to do that but didn't notice it during the game.

Nice to have a couple of wins in a row. Perez was pretty solid, can't ask for much more out of the guy. Now we have slop to throw against the Yankees. This could be ugly.
