The Sox are getting fantastic pitching, but who in the bullpen does Cora truyst?  I think it all boils down to not spending for a top of the rotation pitcher, thereby plugging in the rotation with one or two of your bullpen mainstays.  Did Kennedy try to explain this logic?  I can't remember.  An old maxim applies to the Boston FO, "when you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what you said."

This Campbell guy is a freaking disaster.  Don't know where he came from but he makes Brasier look like an ace.  You can't just lob in flat 85 mph pitches down the middle of the plate.

Then this defense.  The O's announcers have been shocked at how bad the defense is.  It was 13 in 12 games going into last night.  I think they said all the regular position players have an error.  Plus defensive screw ups like missed balls or not tagging the bag.  These guys are worse defensively that last year's team.

The offense still has some work to do but I'm hopeful that will come along as there appears to be talent (someone tell Rafeala he's not required to swing at every pitch though!).

Of course the starting pitching is an injury away from total disaster. They have no starting pitching depth whatsoever.

Tonight they have a chance to right the ship with the Angels back in town.  But we'll see if they can pull it off.

Pablo Reyes, Emanuel Valdez, Wilyer Abreu, David Hamilton??????  Are you kidding me?   These jokers can't hit, can't field, can't do anything but embarrass themselves, the fans and the team.  Back up the truck and by June let' bring up the prospects and see if we can get a little life into this moribund club.  And the bullpen?  Do we have even one guy who can pitch a clean inning?  Getting swept at home after blowing leads in all three games is enough to tell anyone that we have some real dogs out there---and they have got to be jettisoned.
