Let's hope Eovaldi ushers in a new era to this season:

#RedSox starting pitchers are 0-6 with a 7.84 ERA in the last 14 games.

The last Sox starter to record a win was Rich Hill in Cleveland on June 26.

I'm having palpitations already.  This could be a very ugly weekend.  There are a lot of people who need to be elsewhere next  year---Bloom, TFRC, Bradshit, FrenchFry, Dalpuke and a few others.

You had me laughing with the list of names. Just hoping I'll be laughing tonight and not at the ineptitude of the Sox.

If the bottom third of the order gets one hit collectively I will be stunned. Expect at lest a half dozen KS collectively by the three of them.

longgame

Sox jump out to a fast start but leave 2 on after having 1st and 3rd with no outs.  Without Devers there is no scoring.

longgame

Gotta love Chapman, even Dalbec takes him deep.  Of course not JBJ. Sox up 4-3.  Will be interesting to see how the pen handles the rest of this.

WTF is it with this team that NO ONE can throw accurately? These are pros and they can't throw a baseball 20ft without missing their target.

I have to dump on Dalbec more often.

Now do Houck.

The ability of this bullpen to blow this stuff never ceases to amaze me.

Dear Chaim Bloom, we still need a closer.

elktonnick

I blame Cora as much as Houck.  It is the manager's responsibility to see that his club is fundamentally sound.  The Red Sox make way too many fundamental miscues and mental errors.

markj

So Houck misses an easy toss to blow the lead but then manages to get out of a bases-loaded-no-out jam. Go figure.

longgame

Can’t believe they got out of that but they’ll need to score, likely more than once, in the 10th or it’s over.  I have no idea who will attempt to pitch the 10th.

markj

Bases loaded and nothing again. What do the Red Sox and my car have in common?

NO CLUTCH!!!
