Big Papi Selected to the Hall of Fame

Great news R ed Sox fans.  The greatest clutch hitter perhaps in Major League History has been elected to the Hal of Fame with 77.9 of the vote, the only player elected this year.  YAHOO!!!!!!  He deserved it in my opinion and a great day for all Red Sox fans.  Let's hear it for Big Papi, our David Ortiz.  You can bet you last dime I will be at Cooperstown this summer to see him honored.  I have already sent in my down payment for the trip with Sports Travel.  It would be great if I could run into some of my friends on this board there.

I loved the video of the phone call and how he jumped for joy into Pedro's arms!  Ortiz was the rare player that brought a smile to your face when you saw him play.  Can't say that about the guys who were overlooked.  Very happy for him and Red Sox nation.
