We have the game on local TV tonight but I will NOT be watching.  Why get totally frustrated and aggravated  watching this recurring shit show anymore.  We have a 10% chance of winning tonight, if even that .

I see five in the lineup are at the end of their contracts and moving on, I’m including Bogey. Two others should be traded or DFA’d. That ads to their less than want-to spirit.  But those were the contracts they were given.  Lots of new faces next year, hopefully other than Cora and Bloom as Fred suggests.

I’d imagine Bogey will get a QO.

A lot of guys making a good case to move on from this alignment.

Even though they are threatening now, it’s got to be tough to go down early pretty much every night.

Crawful loads the bases on two outs and then Dalbec misses a pop foul that he should have had. It's like they're trying to lose.

Didn't Crawford have a 1-7 curve that was doing so well instead of that hanging slurve crap this staff keeps getting burned on?

And remember when the Red Sox used to hit like Vlad? Man, that seems like a whole generation ago.

Thank goodness Guriel was playing deep-Short.

So who in the hell has Millar been watching out in LF? Wasn't the same Pham we've been watching.

McGuire gets a triple with no outs. Dalbec K's, of course. Now Duran gets HBP. Here comes the GIDP to end the threat.

Why did Cora have Kike pinch run for McGuire? It would have made more sense to have him pinch hit for Dalbec.

I was wrong. No GIDP. They're still trying to blow this chance, though.

Man on 3rd no outs and Sox can not score.  Cora's lack of imagination is stunning.

How in the heck do you not score in the 8th with a lead off triple???
AND not score in the bottom of the 9th with men on second and third no outs?????
THIS team is CRAP!
UGHHHHH

AND meanwhile Kyle Schwarber just hit his 37th home run of the year for the Phillies.
Why did we let him get away?

I was watching a Brooklyn Dodgers documentary that I was able to download so I didn't have to see another gutless performance of this never ending shit show, you know, the Red Sox come back from a deficit to tie and then lose as they have done so many times this season.  Apparently they outdid themselves tonight for futility so glad I was that didn't have to watch it.  When the season ends the team needs a housecleaning and new faces, BUT IF CORA AND BLOOM ARE BACK THEN YOU CAN JUST WRITE OFF 2023 AS WELL.  Cora has become a miserable manager as well as it is one blunder after another.  I know some of you think I might be overdoing it with my take on him being stuck with the Mark of Cain but watch him in action and watch his moves.  His cheating has cast a pall on our club while Bloom has been shown to be a total blundering incompetent.  Now the press and media must attack Prune Face Henry relentlessly and viciously for what he has done to our team, forcing him to get his head out of his ass and start spending money on good players,  good coaches, another manager who is a FRC and a baseball ops exec who knows what the hell he is doing.   All these things will cost more money and the pressure has to be put on the prune to either spend like a big market club or force him through vicious criticism to break down and sell the team.

Cora's moves made zero sense at times tonight. Not even digested them yet.

Henry & Company are trying to develop masochists out of the fan base.  Like some of you have said, sociopaths, devoid of people skills.  Alas there are still about 40 games.

Sox can’t get a guy in from third with none out.  The Jays start the 10th with two fielder’s choices and score a run from 2B.  I’m amazed at the simple inability to do some situational hitting.  Everyone wants to hit HRs and none of them can.

Tonight’s game is in AppleTV+ so not sure if we’ll be able to see it without a subscription.  Imagine paying actual money to watch the Red Sox play! (Which many of us, including me, do!)

It was eye catching what Tim Hyers did as hitting coach for the Sox in the playoffs last season.  Of course he decided to sign with the Rangers.  The new guy, Fatse either is incompetent or the players have no respect for him.  Or have no respect for Cora and the other suits.

How'd y'all like that guy Toronto had on the mound lst night, Anthony Bass. ERA's under 4.00 each year for 5 years since getting out of the Ranger's system. His total ERA in those 5 years is 2.99. The Marlins got him as a Free Agent before the 2021 season $1M. He gets $3M this year and $3M next season with a $1M buyout. I don't know if this is a 3 year deal, or if it's a 1 year deal and then an extension.

Toronto gave up a MLB near ready AAA 23 year old corner infielder to get him.

Two points. We chase players with iffy stats because we think we might be able to do something with their arms, but ignore affordable and proven commodities? Second, there are effective players that simply play ball that can be had for not a bunch of money. They may not light up stat cast, but we don't need them to. Off season is the time for bull pen pouncing. It cost Toronto a prospect, but one it didn't really need. Good for them.
