I hate that the season is ending with a series with Baltimore, which it often has.  It means I don't get the home broadcasts for these final games.

I wonder when that reckoning will come Bill, but it sure is overdue.  If guys can't pitch more than 5 or 6 innings every 5 days, plus a few weeks off for rest and injuries, why exactly do they command $30MM per year.  It's one thing for a position player that plays pretty much every day, but these pitchers, between starters that are becoming openers and then a collection of not so live arms to go an inning at most, just aren't contributing as much.
