Why is Santana in the lineup???? He sucks to high heaven. And Marwin too? As I've said they are favorites of Cora. That's the only reason they are in the lineup and even still on the team. I wonder if it is even worth my time to watch the game today.

Glad I decided to tune in after all. Could not believe that first inning----a rare one-two-three inning of E-Rod who wound up pitching six very good innings. We needed that from him. Then we went to work on Gerrit Cole, perhaps the top pitcher in the league. KIki---homer, Verdugo--double, Martinez walk, Bogie just missed a bomb and got a Sac fly and then Raffy went one into orbit. Perhaps this was the biggest day this year for the Red Sox, sixteen games over 500 and back in first, albeit by only a half a game Four homers made the day for me. Now we have to wonder about Garret Richards tomorrow but perhaps he can give us what Pivetta, Eovaldi and E-Rod gave us the past few days. Sure would be nice and it would be a very pleasant surprise.
