Why is Kiki running into the wall on a ball that was way over his head? Need to play the carom.

Why did Cora bring in Andriese who is worse than useless DFA this bozo.  ERod has no one to blame but himself.  He returned to his old habits of nibbling and it cost him.

Slugfest. Sox get some gift runs and earn some on their own. Now up 12-8. Four runs is probably not enough.

This is the wildest weirdest game that I have seen in years!

WOW - LOTS of scoring -
The SOX needed this win!

Red Sox 12 - Astros 8
The Sox had an answer to every inning that the Astros scored.

AND just happened to turn on the Yankee game
and saw that the Yankees were beating the Twins
5 - 3 going to the bottom of the 9th inning.

Chapman came in to close -
gave up TWO 2 run home runs!
single, home run, single, home run 9 pitches - no outs!
AND the TWINS beat the Yankees 7 - 5.

GREAT night for BoSox fans!

The comeback kids.  Sox trailed four times in this game and won.  They almost outdid Astros in just one game, scored 12, after only scoring 13 in all the other Houston games.  On to Friday.

Is this what happens after the league cracks down on the substances? Interesting if it is. Nobody want to see what we've seen all year, but being down by 2-3 runs and think we're out of it was getting old. Even Dalbec got into the action.

That game was not a boring game to say the least. It gets the "Wow!", and on many levels.

@elktonnick - I was thinking the same thing about Andriese getting that call. I call his entry into ballgames as "giving up" and go through a little routine like the Black Night at the bridge scene in the Monty Python movie. "Oh, I see - running away, are you???" - except I change it to giving up.
