Alex Speier @alexspeier 3m
413 feet and 109 mph out for Devers. Tough break, but he's still mashing.

In game 2 of the double dip  Devers and 'Dugy are the hitting stars with 2 hits and 2 rbis.  ERod really solid through 5  then there's Whitlock.  my oh my.

AND the Red Sox WIN again!
WIN both games of the doubleheader.
Sox 7 - Twins 1

Alex Verdugo had quite a day!
He makes a game winning catch to end the first game.
AND his bat helped the Sox score 6 runs in the 5th inning
and a home run in the top of the 7th inning.

LOVE the way this team is playing.

9 wins in a row!

Shades of 2018 when they lost the first game and then rattled off a 17-1 record.

Markj, I will be the last one to make any comparisons of this team to any of the others that have made our years joyful, but we do seem to have found a way to win games.  And to think we went 0-3 the first series at home, AND HAVE COME BACK TO NOW WIN NINE IN A ROW.  This is encouraging.

I'll admit I was not altogether impressed with the Sox winning the Tampa (they're retooling some pitching) and Balt. series.  But to come into frigid Minn. and win three against Twins (#5 power team on espn) has a lot to say for the new Sox.  Most impressive to me is the pitching Bloom has assembled in the off-season.

This is a WOW !!!!  Great stuff in a time that we all need sports in our life !!!!  GO SOX, keep it going !!!

All it took was a little ragging from me to get Verdugo on track, now lets hope Hernandez gets the message!

Clearly a 9 game winning streak is an anomaly, but now they know they're good enough to pull off long streaks.  That's the key to a good record.

Any day the Sox are in first and the Yankees are in last is a good day!
