On WEEI today, Will Venables, the bench coach and 1B coach Tom Goodwin are out. Venables tested positive and Goodwin is close contact. Matt Barnes was pulled earlier this week for testing but rejoined after negative tests. No new news on Duran or JDM in the world of the epidemic. I guess the Yankees outbreak back in July was a harbinger for Sox, maybe.

We're in a full step free fall right now Sea Dog and it will get a lot worse before it starts to get better. The scouts seem to be giving up on Downs whose avg is down in the .100s. The future at 2B appears to belong to Nick Yorke, who was top draft pick iirc, last year. Yorke was on the demand list by teams inquiring about last weeks trade. Not available apparently. Would you guys have traded Cassas and Duran for Anthony Rizzo? That was apparently being the trade the Cubs wanted.
