Well we came from behind for the first time in what seemed like eons and belted our way to our fourth win in a row, paying back the Rays in their home for what they did to us in ours.  Now if only we could our team get well so as to get their best guys our there and maybe, I said maybe, we can make a go of it over the next couple of months.  From there, who knows?????

Bello has been ineffective since coming off IL.  I read they put the team - and Bello - on a plane at 4:30 AM heading to St Louis.  He was probably gassed by the time he got out there, and had to start Friday's game.

Interesting news on DH Masa Yoshida today.  He has had multiple tests on his hand/thumb, and therapy has been slow.  They say "he will be out a long time".  Hmmm.

Once in awhile Alex Cora can surprisingly surprise us with some gutty call, or is it a shock?  But give the guy some credit Elk  the call made the game in my opinion.  Perhaps it might be a wake-up call for the rest of the flock to play a few more good games in a row. A three game win streak sounds fine, a four game one would sound better.

It's easy for me, I'm in the Charlotte area.  But it would be fun to get together from a ballgame. 

Hope some of you want to join, I see this hasn't been responded to since I left on vacation. 

My vacation timing was pretty good.  I wasn't able to listen much when they were losing but caught some winning games when I could.  Interesting team that has some surprisingly good tools.  Like Duran who went from defensive liability to stud, not to mention his hitting.  Or Abreu who also looked like a defensive dud early other than his arm, but right now they have a pretty good outfield.  The starting pitching continues to defy logic.  They have the potential to win more than they are because of lack of consistency, so it could get interesting if they stay in play through the summer.  Will they go and add a veteran or two to shore up that consistency?

I get that.  I can speak Spanish but can speak better in English and he may be a little ashamed of his accent or lack of command. I have to think he must speak fairly passable English at this point.
