Better pitch Weber at KC and keep the rotation intact for Tampa coming up.
Cora continues to roll with a .100 hitter as his leadoff guy . Perhaps he is simply playing the law of average.
Mookie now a robust 2 -20 since Cora for some dumb reasoning made the switch.
Weber will be FLYING into Greene airport in R I tonight, not to be seen again ……. iono iono iono iono
Good inning has the Sox up 4-2.
Mookie HR. Maybe he can start a streak or was that just a tease.
Walden great job in 4th .Sacks full he retires side on 5 pitches.
Seems like the league has Chavis number .Counting today.Last 10 games 6 hits and 19 strikeouts.Won't be
long for that short ride to Pawtucket will be here.
Sox have had some chances to add on but no dice so far.
Vaz big 2run 3b and scores on WP. Chavis with another K.
Sox now lead 7-3 after getting 3 runs in the 7th on 1 hit.
Barnes gives up a run but finally closes it out. Sox sweep. Much needed.
Sox get the win 7-5.Mookie gets a homer and Chavis continues to be a K machine .
Type of game I expect from a bullpen game. Sox get the win and now back to Fenway for a big 4 game series against TB.
Sox need to discuss what is going on with Chavis. I can`t remember anyone in the years of watching the Sox and baseball in general who has ever had this bad of a stretch .10 games only 6 hits and 20 Ks. I understand they will not give up on the kid but damn he has to at least get the ball in play.

Chavis is going through the typical adjustment phase that all rookies go through. Check back to early May he was on fire and everyone wanted to anoint him the next super star. I cautioned to remember Will Middlebrooks. Now the league has adjusted to him. Because of injuries Chavis was brought too quickly and has not only had to adjust to big league pitching but also to learning a new position as well.
He now has to learn to make the adjustments to the way the big league pitchers are pitching him now. I am confident he'll figure it out.

HANG in there, all …….. Chavis will get thru this...… Still raw but beats the HECK out of "NO GLOVE/NO RANGE NUNEZ" !!!!! iono iono iono rofl rofl
The timing of the Chavis hiccups ain't good with 1B Moreland and Pearce still on the IL and Sam Travis still a marginal guy. Heck, Dalbec might get a call for a cup of coffee if the drama continues. iono
