Plate discipline is just gone. Minter K's the side on pitches mostly well out of the strike zone.

It's not getting better anytime soon. Worcester, Portland and Greenville are 3rd, 2nd and 3rd in Striking Out in their respective leagues. They're doing that while ranking in the middle down to the lower 3rd in most of the positive categories. Only Salem is different in that they're top 3rd in everything BUT striking out, where they are 9th lowest out of 12 teams.

was batting .163, 4 walks, 14 Ks.  In the last week,

batting .388/.421/.777/1.198.  1 walk, 3 strikeouts

What numbers are those? I'm not seeing anything like it, but I've been known to be blind and oblivious.  :(

Mongo, where can I get those figures?  I don't know of any way to find out what our guys on the farm are doing. Great that Yorke is starting to hit but hard to believe he was that bad going into the last week, especially after his very impressive season last year.  I had no idea he was doing so poorly.

The other links I hit every night or early in the next morning. It's the MILB site and kind of quirky. If you see the line score, there will be a "Box" link just to the right to see the current or recent game. They change it too soon the next morning to be a preview, but it's useless by that point. Click the schedule and the game will show up there.
