Let's hope Greinke isn't on top of his game tonight.
You just look at that lineup and wonder what happened... And it doesn't help that JDM forgot how to hit, his BA has dropped like a rock. Nice lefty heavy lineup though. We'll see if it matters.

What the hell is this Sanchez dud doing in any lineup. He is hitting, what 050 and starting again? All Bloom is doing is re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. They brings guys up, the fail, they send them down and bring other guys up and they fail and then the process repeats itself. I have a message for you Bloom; this method is doomed to failure just as your future in baseball if you don't get your head out of your ass and start acting like a baseball man instead of an analytic geek that you are.
Fred Leopards do not change their spots. This team is a FUBAR. No wonder Pedro Martinez ripped him yesterday.
Bloom has clearly lost the fans. If legends like Pedro are calling him out it’s the beginning of the end.
MLB called Cora today to tell him they blew the HR call last night. It didn’t matter in the end, but it was a pretty bad screwup.
If that wasn't a home run, then they really need to fix that line so there's no doubt next time.
They fans really love Hosmer. He got a round of applause last night and again tonight.
Good to see Hosmer knock that run in. He made good contact last night but hit right at people. One MLB guy said Hosmer was a waste, only a ground ball hitter.
That's better, JD. 2-run double.
Wow, can't believe Winchy got out of that jam. Kept his cool. Nice.
No doubt about that dinger. At least it was just a solo.
I think we've all been waiting for him to slam the door on one of those bad innings and he finally did it. Nice!
And Perez nails one.
How about their left fielder, Melendez? Good thing for them he can hit.
Verdugo is having a good night. Two doubles, a single, and 2 runs scored.

I was thinking the same thing Mongo, like here we go again but he pulled it out. Then Sawamura started going off the rails but also got it under control.
Now the Sox are opening it up as they should against a team like this.
Duran with a 2-run double. Sweet. Sox up 7-1.

He was one of many stars on that 2015 team. Seems like a good guy too.
And totally off topic but on one my hiking groups someone had been to Curt Gowdy State Park in WY. The former Red Sox announcer and outdoorsman was a native of WY and a favorite son. Looks like a great park too. I knew he was an outdoorsman and remember him doing those kinds of shows too but never knew he was honored like that.
Would some one please explain why Red Sox relievers with a six run lead walk the leadoff batter.
Davis is trying to make this a close game. I hope Cora has someone else warming up.
I'm watching the Royals broadcast and they just posted that the Sox have blown the lead late in the game 25 times this season.

Interesting, Ted. I stopped in Cheyenne on a trip out west. We asked who is famous out here? A guy said Curt Gowdy. We asked anybody else? He said “just Curt Gowdy.â€

Wow! Combine that with the middle of the order RBI funk and the starting rotation injuries and it's a wonder we're in contention at all.
There's nothing I can find on it, but has anyone seen if Duran missed a hit and run sign with Yolmer on first?
