The baseball people say that Sale pitches the Wednesday game.  Someone will need to gag and tie up Dave O'Brien for that one.

Sale has been looking good and will be pumped up.  Last night was a tough loss. Lots of opportunity, but as soon as they gave up a walk to the leadoff hitter I knew it was over.  Sort of like when the Canes didn't score on a power play in the second OT and the Rangers getting one a few minutes later.  Can't make mistakes like that late in a game.

No mention that once again we failed miserably to drive key runners home and also kept our bad habit of striking out and hitting into double plays....way too many.  It looks right now that unless things change quickly we are once again going to have trouble winning close games and coming from behind to do it when we need to.

These new stopgap guys in the infield are at least fielding their positions, but they can't hit.  Plus the Braves announcers were saying Grissom is way off his playing weight due to his illness.  Sucks for us though.
