In all of this craziness that was Refsnyder's 1/2 inning from hell, the one thing I was put off with was his calling off Rafaela on a fly ball play that was going to result in an attempt to nail a runner at the plate. Refsnyder has been around long enough. to know that he needs to let the guy with the better arm take the ball. Ceddanne ain't know Dewey or JBJ yet, but he's still got the superior arm.

Also gonna point out that Slaten was late as hell going to back up Devers on Refsnyder's throw to 3rd that inning. Raffy made a good play to block the errant throw. Also fortunate on that play was the batter decided not to take 2B on the air mail heave.

I can understand missed throws and boneheaded aggression as being a young team learning, but some of this is simply not good baseball fundamentals. Especially when it's a veteran showing the young kids how not to do things.

Now our coveted Rule 5 pitchers Whitlock and Slaten (knocked around) are in distress.  Can't send Slaten down, maybe calls for the IL.  Whitlock is no longer under rule 5

I'm about ready to throw in the towel.  Let's face it, the team stinks from the head down and Cora in his use of personnel has lost whatever credibility he had----and he had lost 90% of it with me.  Hey Werner, tell us about being "all in" before the hot stove league began.  All in???????  What a sham!!!.

It just keeps getting worse.  Sorry for the semi rant but this is very hard to take for another listless season.

A sad state of affairs.  With all the injured starters this is a bad AAA lineup.  Starting Hamilton over Ceddanne?  A terrible outing by Bello set the tone.

Whitlock shut down for an indefinite period with elbow soreness. Nothing but bad news this season.

Just stop this losing guys.......PPPPUUUUUULLLLLEEEEEZZZZZEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!  I really went off the deep end after last night's game.  The Cards aren't doing to hot themselves so why not go in into the Mound City and win won for all the Gippers on this board.
