Good game. Luckily they caught a pitcher struggling in the 1st inning and took advantage. Sale with his usual excellent performance.

Good game tonight and we got Sale some early runs and when you give him five in the opening frame you ought to win that game.  About time they gave him a banquet of tallies.  We picked up a game on TB but the Yankees won against a declining Mariners team who, I believe, we play next and hope that they don't suddenly get well at our expense.  Hey Mariners, how about beating the Yankees in at least one game.  Price tomorrow and I wish he could fashion a gem the way he did against the Yankees last Sunday night.

We won the first game of the series in Boston against the Angels and then looked like barf the next two games.  This time let it me us to take the series.
