3-7 against the NYY this year.  Should be 1-9 if Torreyes' errors didn't hand them 2 games last month.

In short, the Yankees are our daddies again.

Chapman is doing the Sox a big favor. Hope they take advantage.

Nunez just blew it trying to take 3rd. 2 outs. chances of tying went down to .00004 percent.

The tease is over.  Final: NYY 0-Addison Reed/Joe Kelly 5
                                    Red Sox 3-Aroldis Chapman 1.

When it takes a bad throw to get a speedy runner out, it means that the decision to run was awful. These are on JF. He's supposed to manage the risks.

As far as button pushing, maybe waiting one batter too late to warm Kelly was the only JF blunder. Mayne he was not given enough time to warm up, too?

Gut check loss, though.

That run to 3rd by Nunez really cost us a chance to tie or pull ahead....awful.  awful.

No words can express my disappointment in this team, especially tonite.
Runner can't run the bases correctly; offense---where did it go again;
Bull Pen?  Yes, we have a great BP, but not tonite.  Seriously, Reed?
And JF hasn't got another warming up...what's he thinking.
Rodriguez pitched a heck of a game, too bad he couldn't go 9.
The yankees didn't win this game, we gave it to them.

I watched the YES Network on MLB package instead of the NESN on the MLB app. The past couple of NESN broadcasts seemed like they were in full court press for JF bad decision justification. Base-running and line up shuffling. I got tired of it quickly.

The YES Network were not kind to their own team's short-comings, btw. They seemed to be tripping over themselves to find angles about how bad their offense has been, including one of expounding on how he just does not see any way that the Yankees can score 3 runs to tie it. He was quite happy 20 minutes later.

Would someone please tell Mr Bradley that it's OK to try and steal a base every now and then?

Aaron Judge hitting a horrible .174 since the ASB. Seems like teams have figured him out. Of course, we all knew he wasn`t going to hit 60 plus HRs as the pace he was on.Let's hope the Sox pitchers can keep him in his slump.

Judge had a great first half and that was a surprise after his 2016 action where he was just striking out all over the place. Pitchers have just worked him better and move the ball around and change speeds. They give up a walk - no big deal.  Make a mistake and he will lose the ball on you. Is he Dave Kingman?  Probably more like Frank Howrad. Sanchez is very similar and Sanchez was benched a few days ago for defensive indifferance. Maybe the "Baby Bombers" will light it up?

I just looked at his splits.  Judge just loves Yankee Stadium. 23/44/.341 at home and 12/34/.250 on the road.
