Bad, bad error by Cooper.  The Sox also have been striking out at a record pace this year.  With the infield as it is, three newcomers and Raffy, it's tough.  Plus I hear that Grissom is not at full strength because the weight he lost with the groin pull, and he missed the whole Spring training.  Must get Casas back.

This one really hurt Schloicka.  Somehow, some way, we have to get our hitting, pitching and fielding on the same page and start winning a few series in a row, otherwise we may be looking at another miserable season.  I was actually walking the floor after tonight's miserable showing.

A real head scratcher for Sox fans.  Some good offense.  Devers and Ceddane had some interesting moments trying to make plays.  Dom Smith got his bat going finally.  I did not know that McGuire had that strong of an arm.

Sox win 5-4 in 12 innings. Good come from behind win.

Smith and Grissom have been two big drags in the lineup so far, neither of them distinguishing themselves in any way.  Grissom is supposed to be a solid y oung player so it is strange that he has looked so crappy both in the field and especially at the bat. Smith failed miserably with the Mets and on two other teams he has played for so the question is why the heck is this guy even with our team.  Do we keep  taking other teams' failures?
