Last season we played over our heads with a somewhat tainted teamand almost got into the WS.  They are trying to do it again this year with even less of a pre season effort to improve our personnel.  The result in last place and we had better get used to that. Unfortunatley the Sox show no inkling of being a team that can even win two games in a row. We are just a sitty team right now and it doesn't look much better down the road.  It may come to our having to insert some of our prospects into the lineup and trade some of the vets who are FA after this season and see if we can get something decent from some teams that think they have a chance to get to the WS.  We sure as hell are not.

It's time to pass the baton to the AAA guys.  This team is living on borrowed time.  The callup of Duran got the fans at Fenway excited, and I think theyre looking for new blood.  Casas will appear soon, followed by a different catcher, Wong(?).  Seabold is about ready to pitch, which could move Pivetta to the bullpen.  It would be good to give Fitzgerald a chance. He was minor league player of the month of April,  7 home runs and batting .310.

Bloom can't wait to dump Bogey and JD so they have no offense other Devers.  At this rate I'd be shocked if the two if not all three get dealt by Bloom so he can have his all rookie team.  Someone needs to tell them that people have to care about the players and that's why the Sox always sell out and Tampa Bay never has.

Another pattern this year - a guy has a good game and he gets the next day off or even sent down to the minors.  More baseball malpractice.

Just like last year they are programming Duran to fail.  Why the F@#K do they bring up the kid and then send him down after only one friggin game.   They played this game with him last year, and let me tell you something.  A good friend of mind who worked for Tampa Bay as a scout said Bloom was the ticket to a Red Sox new dynasty---and that is bullshit.  Bloom has to go.  He doesn't realize that low balling Devers and Bogaerts have told those two players they aren't wanted and to keep them on the team is lunacy.  They need to be traded as quickly as time will permit and since a lot of teams think they have a chance to a good run in the 2022 Playoffs we could and should get something for them.  Besides them, Vazquez needs to go; he looks like shit at the plate and seems to think he is a burner on the bases running us out of one inning after another.  Kiki is a utility specialist who had a career last year and he should be jettisoned or made a reserve.  The Sox have to face it;  this team is going underwater and will stay there this year and a few more if changed aren't made now and only Bloomer Boy can do it.  Yes I think he has becomd an incompetent but Prune Face in his new estate doesn't give a shit anymore and we can only hope he sells the team  to someone who wants to win and gets a baseball ops man who is not another Bloomer Boy or, God help us, another Lucchino.   After we get swept this weekend by a recently slumping White Sox it is time to back up the truck and get the mal-contents and underachievers and overthehillers the hell out of Boston.
