Title: How the mighty have fallen
Post by: markj on October 16, 2022, 05:37:27 PM
Dodgers and Braves both done and gone. I may have to join the SD camp. Certainly better than either the Yankmees or the Ass-tros. If Tito's boys make it, I'll have to root for them. If not, it's SD all the way.

Nice to see and hopefully we see the Yankees go down.  Cleveland is a very exciting team to watch with all those young guys.  Was fun to see the Padres win.  I’m with you on cheering for those two.  That Seattle - Houston game was something. I know the starting pitcher, Kirby’s uncle.

Sadly, Tito's boys came up short. So it's NYY and HOU. As much as I don't like either team, I'd dislike HOU more. I hope the Padres beat PHI so at least I'll have some interest in the WS. If it ends up being PHI against either of the AL teams, I won't be watching much of it.

The Fighting Franconas reminded me of the Sox in the ALCS last year.  Came in with a lot of momentum but suddenly ran out of gas.  I’d love to see the Padres advance and really don’t like either of the AL teams of course.
