For sure Pawlecki won’t catch today, he was DFAd. Frank German, former Yankee pitcher, was called up.

Out of it with minimal damage. Although 2 runs is not so minimal with this crew.

Bases loaded, one out, and Raffy K's looking.

And JDM with a weak pop-up. Typical.

With Bogey and Story both out, all KC has to do is pitch around Raffy.

It seems they don't even need to pitch around him. He's hardly been a threat lately.

Bizarro is putting this game out of reach. Although, it was probably out of reach at 2-0.

Mustn't forget Yu Chang.  Now where did we get this crud from?  Even I at my cynical best couldn't envision our team falling so low that we would need a ladder to climb out of the gutter so a stray dog wouldn't shit on us.  Does anyone here still believe that Bloom shouldn't be shown the door.  His incompetence is beyond pathetic.

The roof falls in on the German kid in the 6th.  Its close to the white flag.

You know when the booth crew start joking around about anything but baseball, it's all over.

Helped along by Bazardo who let all 3 inherited runners score one by one.

KC with 8 LOBsters (so far). This could have been a much more serious blowout.

Sox sink to new level of ineptitude.

I think the lineups we see for the next couple of weeks will be bizarre.  It looks like Sox will have to DFA a lot of regulars and bench at Boston and Wooster to assign other players to the 40 man.

For example Pawlecki is one that got caught up in it to make room for Rafaela the future CF/LF now at Portland.  He and a number of our prized farmhands that come under the Rule 5 this year and need to be protected.

Plawecki was going to be a FA at the end of the season anyway. With McGuire and Wong, the Sox didn't need a 3rd catcher. He might get picked up by some team that needs an experienced catcher for a post-season run.
