Maybe the best predictable outcome … a rainout. Heavy weather expected.
Could we see back-to-back sweeps here?

It appears to be free on Apple TV+, but then you have to deal with the Apple TV crew. I may dump mlb.tv and go with streameast next year. I'm sick to death of the repetitive and idiotic commercials on mlb.tv.
First pitch leaves the park. Oh boy.
How did Kike miss that tag?
Another one leaves the park. Sox down 3-0.
Hey, it’s a great night to sit Devers, our homer guy. Meanwhile Wacha is getting torched. A recurring nightmare in Boston.

I was listening to the game on the MLB app the other night while driving in NC listening to the Sox and Toronto. They gave me political ads from Georgia! Got some from NY a couple of weeks ago.
Wow, guess I should have been paying closer attention to the game. 8-4? Zoiks. And a rare clutch hit from Xander.
Damn! It's been a long, long, long, long time since we had base hits and more base hits and a couple bombs on top. Still some rally killing K's, but they're a little more forgivable when it's not ALL K's.
and Heidi - sigh!!!!!!
Wacha recovered well, eh!
Man on 3rd and Xander at the plate. RBI probability is only 10% according to Apple TV.
Brasier better stop filling the bases or this game could get close quickly.
Earth to Cora!! Brasier sux. Get him out of there.
Too late. Brasier is useless. Still no outs and now just a 1 run lead. WTF.
Insanity is doing the same repeatedly and expect a different result. Insanity is letting Brasier pitch
Amazing. They hang on for the win.

Come on markj, don't you know that Cora is the smartest man in the house---and didn't he have Brasier pitch a one-two-three ninth inning at Yankee Stadium weeks ago to save a win for us? How could not remember that. Yea, right!!!!! Hell even with a five run lead Brasier cannot be trusted so why is he still with us after five seasons? Stupidity engulfs the Red Sox and there seems to be no way out for them. At least we had the right guy in there in the ninth inning to get us an easy one, two, three and finally win a game... Yay Whitlock.
They tried to blow it but managed not to. I’ll take the win!
That was closer than it needed to be. Cora was trying to prove Shaughnessey right when he said Brasier should never pitch in a high pressure situation again. Then again, a 5 run lead used to be mop-up work.
Nice to win one, though. Nice to see Whitlock close one out in definitive fashion. Nice to see some hits.
Right before Boston's big inning, I saw most of Worcester's 11-run inning last night. Tons of walks.
In other games, the Jays got shut out by Angels 12-0. ither Detmers was pitching lights out, or theJays shot all of their mojo at Boston. The Sox just cant win many crucial games this year for a laundry list of reasons.
