Xander with an RBI double to tie it up. 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Need to score more.

Chavis with an RBI single. Sox up 6-4. Keep the line moving, boys.

Watching E-Rod pitch is always painful, even when he pitches well.

You knew with bases juiced and one out that someone was going to GIDP. Still, Sox tack on 3 more. Should be enough.

We came back from a disheartening 17 inning loss last night and could have just mailed it in tonight but we didn't.  The Red Sox went out there and got the job done and won the series.  We hit and while E-Rod labored he gave us seven strong innings to help rest most of the bullpen.  I would like to say this series win helped us finally turn a corner that has eluded us all season thus far but this coming home stand will tell that story because right now we are 15-17 at home and we just have to be much better than that to prevail this season.  We need a gigantic blowout for the next week plus and then we can say they better take us serious.  I'm hoping to see it happen.

Thus win was deja vu in many respects to the WS in LA last year.  Lost a long extra innings affair leaving LOBs, getting behind the next game until a homer from Mitch, and we never looked back.

I was thinking the same thing!
Good to see our team win the series against the American League wins leader,
Minnesota Twins.
Keep it going!
