Losing Season

For a while I thought they'd surely end the season at .500 at least. But their last 25 games are 7-18. That's a serious nosedive. Not a season to remember.

That sounds like way too many decisions being made for an organization in transition to new leadership. "New", as in new to the team. Sounds like my hopes of getting a baseball organization in place are starting to dwindle.

The move itself reminds me of a pitching shift the Yankees did when they hired some pitching guru from the private instruction world to become pitching coach. I understand their coaching support system is supposed to be impressive in size and depth, at least. They always have some nice pitching. I would have expected something along this line soon after Bloom took over, not after his demise.
