Raffy is expected to take this game off (Saturday game too?) owing to his shoulder injury. He says that he's been playing a little banged up from spring training. If I remember correctly, he got injured from a batting machine. Or it could be a combination of things. What a year it has been.

Story was the best infield defender they had and the idea he would make those on either side better (or less exposed). The problem is that was assuming that he had Devers and Grissom on either side. While neither is a defensive whiz, they can field the position. No depth strikes hard when 3/4 of your infield is out.
