I guess we were working on it at the same time! Go ahead and delete one, rather than us both trying to and deleting both!
NEEDLESS to say, a MUST win today …… Can the YANK$ lose 3 in a row ????
The Sox have some very talented hitters. They hardly ever miss an infielder.
Usual run support for Sale, none. Can you tell he's PO'd by his upper 90 velocity?
Finally scraped up a few runs. Lots of warning track power on display in that inning.
Moreland with a massive 2-run blast. Sox up 5-0.
Sale done after 7 scoreless innings. Kelly with a clean 8th.
Barnes with a clean 9th. Sox win 5-0. Good game all around.
Nice win and an off day at home.
AND the Sox win 5 - 0.
Chris Sale pitches a gem AND he got run support!
For all the JBJ haters -
he had a good day at the plate.
3 for 3, with three singles.
DANG IT - the Yankees have tied it up with the Rays.
7 - 7.
The Rays WERE leading the Yankees by 3 runs at one point.
Let's GO Rays.

While I applaud JBJ performance today, we have seen this happen before and must remind ourselves of the adage of the blind squirrels and acorns.
RAYS SWEEP 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
AND the Tampa Bay Rays BEAT the Yankees in extra innings 7- 6.
The SWEPT the Yankees
AND helped to put the Sox back into a tie in the AL EAST.
WOW!
A great day of baseball for Red Sox fans.
First time the Yankees have lost 3 straight.
YAHOOOOOOOO!
Wow. Rays sweep the Yanks. Miracles happen. ALE all tied up again.

Bradley finally had a good hitting game so good for him and the Red Sox. No doing flips yet because I have seen his droughts sin ce 2014, but I will take it. Now let's see if we can keep playing good ball and not revert back to our mediocre ways. Good they got Sale some run support for a change.. I'm not trying to throw cold water on things but we are still two down in the loss column and to me that is the column we should be watching very carefully and concentrating on. But a good weekend the way things turned out.

Indeed indeed! Good end to the weekend.
JBJ's night just earned him another month in Cora's lineup, but he's still well below .200.

He'd have to get up to about 240-250 by the ASB to generate good interest.
BUT, if he does that it means he'll have been on a hot streak, hitting way over 300 for 3 weeks. Which then means: yikes, do we take our chances that he's hot through October at that point?? :-X
